Soon, CartoDB will join the largest open-source geospatial conference, FOSS4G with a permanent presence. As a leading open-source project, we’re excited about this event and will be sending several members of the CartoDB team to Portland to participate. We look forward to showing you what sets the CartoDB GIS cloud apart, and hope to see you at our following sessions and workshops:
How to tell stories and engage an audience with maps (Wednesday, Sep 10th - 10:30 - 10:55), by Andrew Hill
The unrelenting progress of design in open-source (Friday, Sep 12h, 14:00 - 14:25) by Sergio Álvarez Leiva
Be sure to stop by the CartoDB booth in the expo area, where we’ll be sharing with everyone who wants to learn more about developing geospatial projects.
PS. Remember to submit your maps to the FOSS4G Map Gallery before the end of August!
