InsideEDGE is a sport and leisure planning company that helps ensure government, private businesses and sporting organisations invest in the right infrastructure. They work with some of the biggest sporting bodies in Australia, including the AFL, Cricket Australia, Tennis Australia, Golf Australia and Football Australia.
The Challenge
Aggregating multiple systems with different data
InsideEDGE previously used mostly Microsoft Excel for analysis, which was limiting and did not provide visualisation capabilities. Data that was essential for auditing purposes had to be dispersed to several internal sources, resulting in insideEDGE having to deal with multiple systems with different data, and a lot of manual effort and potential error.

Map visualization & interactive dashboards
InsideEDGE leveraged NGIS & CARTO to generate interactive dashboards and maps for its clients with live and accurate data, this allows them to support their planning projects and decision making in several key areas.
The map visualisation platform uses Location Intelligence to physically pinpoint all assets using GPS data, each identified by a unique asset number.
