Using spatial to have a special impact?

If you’re changing the world with Location Intelligence, then you may be eligible for a CARTO grant.

CARTO was created to make our world better. With a background in environmental science and biodiversity, our founders believed that maps and data could change the way we understood our world.

Frustrated by existing solutions to analyze spatial data, Javier de la Torre and Sergio Álvarez Leiva set out to make it easier and that's when CartoDB - now CARTO, was born.

Think of how many still dispute climate change, despite scientific consensus. A big part of this is due to how complicated it is to understand the data. That's why we began our mission to get the best location data into the hands of change makers around the world.
