My data is updated, how can I refresh my map automatically?

Learn a workaround to force a Builder embed map to refresh.

When you open a Builder map inside your CARTO account or from one of it’s Publish panel links, it will automatically display the current information in the datasets used for its layers.

If you are changing the data while the map is being viewed, the Map View will not automatically refresh upon dataset update.

You can make an embedded Builder map refresh automatically by using JavaScript to reload the page it’s embedded in.
