How can I get an API Key?

Why do you need this?

You need an API Key for any kind of interaction with CARTO Engine APIs such as developing mobile and web applications, using ETL tools, or managing your Enterprise users programmatically.

What is an API Key?

CARTO’s API Keys are tokens to enable requests to CARTO’s APIs (Auth, Maps, SQL, etc.). API Keys identify your project and provide a powerful and flexible primitive for managing access to CARTO’s resources like APIs and Datasets.

Which plan do you need to have an API Key?

CARTO’s API Keys are only accessible for Enterprise Engine plan accounts.
