The Los Angeles Times informed the public about the state of the city's housing market by making municipal data easily communicable.
The Los Angeles Times worked with the Los Angeles Housing Community Investment Department, OpenStreetMap, and CARTO to design a map that shows addresses with at least one foreclosed property and foreclosed properties with at least one complaint.
